IWN’s Lundquist-Arora and Deshpande Connect With Virginians

ARLINGTON, VA — As families across the Commonwealth continue to seek more control over their children’s education, the Independent Women’s Network (IWN) was on hand at EdReform Virginia’s March 7 event to provide the infrastructure and resources necessary to take action.
Representing IWN were two significant voices in today’s education reform movement: Stephanie Lundquist-Arora and Neeraja Deshpande.
Educational Freedom & Reform
Lundquist-Arora, who leads IWN’s Fairfax chapter and frequently writes for EdNews Virginia, was a major figure in the room. She and Deshpande spent the afternoon connecting with attendees to discuss IWN’s vision for educational freedom alongside commonsense reforms within the public, government-run system.
A Multi-Faceted Mission
Lundquist-Arora’s presence on March 7 highlighted the close-knit nature of Virginia’s education reform community. Her work at IWN directly complements her investigative journalism, in which she often chronicles the failures of Virginia’s educational bureaucracy.
For many attendees, talking with Deshpande and Lundquist-Arora was both informative and motivational. IWN focuses on giving moms (and dads) the facts and analysis they need to convincingly voice their concerns at school board meetings and elsewhere.
Why It Matters
IWN’s work bridges the gap between high-level analysis and boots-on-the-ground activism. By offering a network for concerned parents, the organization ensures the energy from events, like EdReform Virginia’s March 7 gathering, results in sustained grassroots activism year-round. Those interested can visit IWN’s official website to find a local chapter or access their parental rights toolkits.
